~AERIAL ARTS~
From 2000-18 I performed as a professional aerialist for circus shows, special events, festivals, clubs, theme parks, weddings and corporate events.
I learned skills on many different apparatus through specific on the job training, collaborating on performances and training with her friends, mentors, peers, colleagues and teachers: Aloysia Gavre, Alyssa McCraw, Dreame Frohe, Eric Newton, Ingrid Hoffman, Jordann Baker, Judith Helle, Lindsay Orton, Michelle Sargent, PJ Perry, Sara Toney, Steve Gale and at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts with Gregangelo Herrera.
I have performed in Circus shows, corporate events, music festivals, special events, theme parks and weddings across the U.S. and internationally in Austria, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Japan, Panama and Switzerland; at Burning Man, Disney California Adventure, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Paradiso Festival, Sea World, Toshimaen, Universal Studios and for my co-owned company Bella Circo Productions and others such as Bellisama Aerial Dance co., Cirque Mechanics, Eye of Newt Circus, Il Circo, Red Bull, Shapeshifter Circus, Velocity Circus and The Velvet Hammer Burlesque to name a few.
I performed on aerial hoop, static trapeze, rope, spanish web, Chinese pole, bungee trapeze, triple trapeze carousel, 3' peg stilts, hanging from 18 helium filled weather balloons and specialized in aerial silks and hammock.
I officially started teaching aerial classes, for a couple years, when Cirque School L.A. opened in 2009 in Hollywood, CA. and moved to Washington state in 2014 where I taught aerial fitness at Riverside Health Club in Mt. Vernon, aerial silks and hammock at the Bellingham Circus Guild until 2018 and aerial hammock 2020-present.
~YOGA~
In 2001 I fell in love with vinyasa flow Yoga, taught by the amazing Brenda Strong, at Yoga Villa in Los Angeles, CA. To deepen my practice, in 2008, I attended a yoga teacher training retreat, at the White Lotus Foundation, in Santa Barbara, CA. I became a certified Yoga teacher in 2016 and am currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT200. Since 2020 I am a qualified TRX® Yoga Instructor and a certified graduate of Yoga Body's, Yoga Teachers College, Yoga Trapeze® teacher training program.
~PILATES~
I have been teaching Pilates since 2016. I trained with Carolyn Watson and PJ Perry at Core Kinetics Movement & Pilates in Bellingham, WA. and Janet Sunderland at Soma Pilates in Seattle, WA through Balanced Body University. With over 500 hours of training, I graduated as a Fully Qualified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor in mat, small props, reformer, trapeze table, chair and barrel. I have been teaching at Joy of Pilates & Fitness in Bellingham, WA, since 2017, in 2019 I became an Advanced Certified Pilates Suspension Method® Instructor and as of 2022 I am proud to be a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, NCPT.
~SPECIALTY~
I taught group fitness classes from 2016-18 at Riverside Health Club in Mt. Vernon, WA. where I lead a singing aqua arthritis class and was trained and Certified in Group Centergy® (Yoga & Pilates choreographed to music). Since 2020 I am a Qualified TRX Trainer and have been an American Bone Health Level 2 Peer Educator since 2021.
In 2023 I received Certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Senior Fitness Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine/ NASM.

HISTORY
In 2009, I co- founded Bella Circo Productions with the amazing Sara Toney. We specialized in creating custom themed performances, from costumes to choreography, which led to our contemporary theatrical circus productions, Oceania and La Galleria.
Below is a video of me performing on aerial silks. This was one of the most challenging acts I have ever done and the one I am most proud of.

PRE- HISTORY
From 1997- 2018 I specialized in theater wardrobe and costuming. I worked for American Girl Place Theater, Cirque du Soleil's Kooza and "O", Disney International Costuming, Luminario Ballet, ODC Dance, Total Fabrication special effects costume shop and Universal Studios theme park wardrobe and wig departments.
I also sewed handmade costumes for myself and many of my friends and colleagues.
