Terril teran Mire
Hi! My name is Terril and I enjoy teaching virtual online fitness, to people around the world, from my country home in Washington State.
I spent eighteen years as a professional aerial artist, dangling from the ceiling on many different aerial apparatus and walking on 2 & 3 foot stilts.
Over the last decade I have been a teacher of various forms of fitness including Aerial Silks, Aerial Hammock, Yoga Trapeze®, Group Centergy®, Singing Aqua Arthritis, Pilates Apparatus and Yoga.
I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, graduate of Balanced Body University’s Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program, Yoga Alliance registered RYT200, Advanced Certified Pilates Suspension Method Instructor, NASM certified Senior Fitness Specialist, American Bone Health Peer Educator level 2 and am currently studying to be a NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist.
All of my lessons are rooted in the Pilates principles of breath, concentration, control, precision, centering and flow; inspired by Vinyasa Flow Yoga; with a little bit of circus fun! During your lesson, I hope to facilitate the physical challenge of the body and focus of the mind that allows you to be in the present moment.
I believe that mindful movement is they key to injury prevention and I would have greatly benefited from the Pilates method as a novice aerial artist!
